Baby Baetis Nymph

This is a great imitative mayfly pattern to match our small local blue-winged olive nymphs. It maintains the proper silhouette of a baetis nymph but builds in a noticeable bright wing case and legs that add subtle movement and proof of life. It is a great year round fly, but excels during our late fall through spring months when the fish are keyed in on blue-winged olive mayflies. This is especially effective fished under your indicator rigs.
