This is my personal take on John Barr’s tried and true pattern. This fly is is deadly on an indicator rig or trailed behind a dry fly before and during a mayfly hatch. It is one of my absolute confidence patterns. My pattern has an antron tail, a turkey biot body, and an SLF Prism dubbed thorax that elevates the traditional pattern into different levels of buggy, flashy goodness. This is a must have on our local tailwaters.
